    These programmes have been designed to meet the requirements of the work place in a variety of organizations and to equip students with the knowledge, skills and experience needed in order to cope with the particular challenges and creatively theirs.

     

     

    The faculty currently offers following undergraduate programmes:

    » Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Finance & Management
    » Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Business & Marketing

     

    Other planned programmes include Accountancy, Risk Analysis & Management and Business & Management.

    All the degree programmes equip students for a wide choice of careers in business.

    The three degree programmes share a common first year.

    The curriculum includes computer applications, communication skills, leadership qualities, development of creative and analytical thinking as vital themes. After their first year of study, students specialize in selected majors in their second and third years. Students are also required to conduct practical research on selected topics.

    Group and project work are actively encouraged, building upon interactions with local industry and the needs of rural business. The programme balances academic knowledge with vocational skills, while developing awareness of current issues and developments. A variety of optional subjects enables students to pursue their particular areas of interest.

    Compulsory industrial training postings at the end of the second year are conducted for all the three degree programmes aimed at giving the students early exposure to the real work environment.
