Accommodation
Trinity has seven residential buildings and two share-houses that accommodate almost 300 students and 14 tutors during University semesters. Student rooms vary in size, but all contain the following minimum furniture:
- single bed (with mattress and mattress protector)
- desk, chair and desk lamp
- bookshelf
- wardrobe
- small refrigerator.
All rooms have phone and internet access. There is a shared computer room with PC and Mac computers and a scanner, printer, fax machine and photocopier in each residential building. Use of the technology is charged through credit on the resident’s student card. Rooms are allocated by the Registrar. Room allocation for returning students takes account of seniority, contribution to College life, and any stated preferences that can be reasonably met. Graduate students generally have a choice of a room in a shared graduate house (at 61 and 65 Royal Parade), or an en-suite room in the Gourlay building on the main campus.
