    Institute of Chemical and Bio-Engineering Technology

    Universiti Kuala Lumpur Malaysian Institute of Chemical and Bioengineering Technology (UniKL MICET) is a pioneer institution of higher learning in the country that provides hands-on chemical based technology education. Located within the Bio Valley of Malaysia, its courses place high emphasis on the interaction between scientific and technological training and industrial experience with the contents of its courses regularly reviewed in accordance with the changing needs of the industry.

     

    Institute of Product Design and Manufacturing

    IPROM aims to generate graduates who are able to play an important role in the design and manufacturing fields for industries specialising in consumer products. The graduates are exposed to hands-on mode of training that will enable them to acquire good understanding of the aesthetic, analytical and manufacturing skills to effectively develop innovative designs and products of high commercial value, that fulfill the users’ needs for environmental-friendly gadgets.     Institute of Industrial Technology

    UniKL MITEC, Formerly known as UniKL Pasir Gudang is specialised in Industrial Process Instrumentation and Control Engineering which aims to fulfill human capital needs of the Iskandar Development Region. The ground-breaking ceremony of UniKL Pasir Gudang worth RM 196.5 million on a 24 hectare piece of land was officiated by the former Minister of Entrepreneur and Co-operative Development, Dato’ Seri Mohamed Khaled Nordin last March 2008. The campus will be ready by 2010 at Pasir Gudang with the maximum capacity of 1,500 students. Currently, UniKL MITEC offers Diploma and Bachelor programmes in Industrial Logistics and Quality Engineering.

     

    Institute of Marine Engineering Technology

    Strategically located in Lumut, Perak, relatively known as the home-base of the Royal Malaysian Navy, UniKL MIMET has acquired tremendous response from the public and industries to produce graduates who are highly skilled and knowledgeable in the maritime industry. UniKL MIMET offers industry-specific programmes as required by the local and international marine engineering industries. The campus is equipped with the latest advanced technological equipment complete with wharfs and ports to give the students vast and adequate opportunity to experience hands-on technical training.
