The Faculty of Business and Information Science (FOBIS) is one of the largest faculty in UCSI University. The faculty consists of 1 School and 5 Departments. The combination of school and departments help to foster the intense interdisciplinary approach that inspires much of the outstanding achievement.

With the philosophy of educate and transform individuals to make a difference for the betterment of the world in mind, we make education real through innovative teaching and learning practices drawing from experiences gained with strategic partnership and research.

The Faculty believes that dialogue is a profound life-to-life interaction, and this drive us to our annual programme review meeting seriously. The dialogue session with parents, subject experts and industry practitioners is important for Faculty to ensure the programme offered is always relevant to the industry needs and the graduates are high-caliber and market driven.

Our academic teams consist of a perfect combination of young and senior academician. We understand that education must inspire the faith that each of us has both the power and the responsibility to affect positive change on a global scale. With this, our academic teams foster a challenging and developmental environment to prepare students to excel in not just academic-related achievements, but personal development.

The Faculty of Business and Information Science has students representing all walks of life from over 60 countries, and the opportunity to mix with such an eclectic student base makes its programmes highly enriching in nature.

The faculty has developed a close relationship with industrial partners, such as Tricor, Apple, Security Commission to provide training and sponsorship for university event. The faculty also forged close link with international professional bodies like ACCA, CIMA, CPA Australia, MRFP, SOA for programme accreditations and exemptions student to achieve professional qualifications.
