    Welcome to the website of the School of Academic Language and Learning (SALL). Our location is on the second level of Orange 4 on the Casuarina campus.

    The School of Academic Language and Learning was established as a one-stop-shop for students seeking academic support.

    The programs of SALL aim to give students the skills, literacy and confidence to enter Higher Education and progress once at university. There is a strong emphasis on providing students with a supportive environment in order that the significant transition students make into the world of education is successful.

    Our services
    Academic Language and Learning Success Program (ALLSP) offers a range of free workshops aimed at developing the academic skills needed to succeed in university studies at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level. These are presented on campus and online. We also provide a range of online resources, including archived recordings of workshops and workshop materials. Appointments for individual assistance can also be made if a student has attended an ALLSP workshop.

    Who we support
    Internal, external, international and domestic students, undergraduates and postgraduates. We also work with lecturers and tutors.
