The Faculty of Business has four departments:

The main reasons I chose to study at LSBU was a combination of its great location, its diversity and the flexibility and variety of its courses. The MBA was very useful – the case studies and course work gave me an indication of what really takes place in the corporate business world.

My favourite memory of LSBU was of hearing a lecture at a prestigious Spanish university on a trip the MBA class took to Valencia, Spain. Finding out how the European continent worked was an invaluable experience.

My studies at LSBU influenced my career decisions immensely. I had previously trained as an accountant, but by completing the MBA with a specialisation in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Development, I was able to help with projects which assist and grow small businesses in the East End of London. It has also allowed me to travel the world and return to Trinidad and Tobago to use my knowledge to contribute to the sector.
