    Accounting, Finance, Business and Economics are crucial to the functioning of organisations, the global economy and to the development of societies. They are at the leading edge of Accounting, Finance and Economics developments within the school and this innovation is reflected in their research and in their teaching.

     

                                                                           

       
     

    The research of the School covers a number of important areas such as financial markets, emerging markets, international financial reporting standards, social & environmental accounting, business management practices, critical accounting, Islamic accounting & finance, corporate governance, health economics, international trade and investment, labour economics, welfare economics and macroeconomics. This eclectic mix of research interests amongst their staff means that they have a very vibrant atmosphere within the school which is both scholarly and challenging and their teaching reflects this vibrant atmosphere. They look forward to engaging with all their stakeholders and in advancing the School of Business into the future.
