| The research of the School covers a number of important areas such as financial markets, emerging markets, international financial reporting standards, social & environmental accounting, business management practices, critical accounting, Islamic accounting & finance, corporate governance, health economics, international trade and investment, labour economics, welfare economics and macroeconomics. This eclectic mix of research interests amongst their staff means that they have a very vibrant atmosphere within the school which is both scholarly and challenging and their teaching reflects this vibrant atmosphere.
