The Faculty of Education maintains a tradition of excellence in both teaching and research while taking on the challenges of developing educational practices for both global and local needs. The Faculty is doing this by engaging in a world class suite of teacher education courses to prepare teachers for early childhood, primary and secondary classrooms. Early childhood education

• Master of Teaching - Early Childhood (Postgraduate): two years full-time for those who have already completed a relevant bachelor's degree.

Primary education

• Master of Teaching - Primary (Postgraduate): two years full-time for those who have already completed a relevant bachelor's degree.

Secondary education

• Graduate Diploma in Education (Postgraduate): one year full-time for those who have already completed a relevant bachelor's degree.
• Graduate Diploma in Educational Studies (Postgraduate): for those who are three-year trained teachers wishing to upgrade.
• Master of Teaching - Secondary (Postgraduate): two years full-time for those who have already completed a relevant bachelor's degree.

• Doctor of Philosophy - administered by the Graduate Research School.
