Foundation Education in health is a one year full-time programme in either Health Science or Social Science. Study in these programmes helps students develop skills and practices to upgrade qualifications for entry into further tertiary study in health.

Certificate in Foundation Education (Health Science)

Develop some skills and practices to help you move into further study within the health science area. LEVEL 4

Certificate in Foundation Education (Social Sciences)

Develop skills and practices to help you move into further study within the early childhood education area or social science. LEVEL 4

Pre-entry to Degrees

If you're thinking about a career which requires a degree qualification, but lack confidence in study skills, this course is for you. Mature students are particularly welcome. Graduates are qualified for entry into a Bachelor programme. LEVEL 4

Certificate in Foundation Music

Have a go at taking music seriously on this introductory course, which includes performance skills, playing with a band, professional studies and musical theory. LEVEL 3

Certificate in Preparation for Tertiary Study

This programme will allow you to make an informed choice of a career or academic path while increasing your skills in language, literacy and numeracy. You will be prepared for study in any regional tertiary institute. LEVEL 3

Certificate in Foundation Education (Business)

Develop skills and practices to help you move into degree study in business, where you can major in management, marketing, finance or hospitality. LEVEL 4
