    The Alice Smith International School

The Alice Smith School provides an English curriculum in an international setting, for mainly expatriate students aged 3 to 18.

Students wishing to enter the School must be proficient speakers of English and display appropriate attitude and ability to fully participate in and benefit from the School’s curriculum and high achieving environment.

The Alice Smith School does not provide boarding facilities, so students must be living in Malaysia with their families.

The school was started by Mrs Alice Smith at her home in Jalan Eaton, Kuala Lumpur, in 1946. At the end of the Second World War

After 60 years, the Alice Smith School has a rich web of alumni stretched across the globe. Today, each one of our 1,500 students is educated with the same level of personal dedication, inspiration and student focused learning as Mrs Smith had for her first class in

The Primary Campus caters for children from Pre-school to Year 6 (3 – 11 years old) and we have around 770 children on our well resourced site where we follow the English National Curriculum and offer a wide range of co-curricular activities.

The Secondary Campus at Equine Park is situated on expansive grounds and caters for approximately 700 students in Years 7 to 13 (between the ages of 11 and 18). There are five form classes in each year level from Year 7 to 11 with between 100 to 120 students in a year group. There are currently approximately 120 students in the Sixth Form with about 60 students in each year level. Maximum class size is 24 in Key Stages 3 and 4, with many optional subjects in the upper school have much smaller teacher-student ratios.
