| Established in the year 2000, Australian International School Malaysia has grown to become a competitive private education institution offering the Australian, New South Wales Board of Studies Curriculum to students from all over the world.
Education Providing a challenging educational program from Preparation to Year 12 (age 3-18); students graduate with the NSW Higher School Certificate (HSC), enabling them to apply competitively to universities worldwide. We currently cater for 560 students from early years – Grade 12. This number will gradually increase to over 900 after the 2012 completion of a new Junior school building and early learning centre. The new facilities include state of the art learning spaces as well as outstanding facilities for art, music, drama, dance, information technology and sport. Highly qualified international teachers; predominantly Australian trained and experienced, are continually up-skilling their knowledge whilst encouraging students to explore, excel and extend their learning to their best potential, both in and out of the classroom. The Australian International School year runs from January to December, with four terms matching schools in Australia and New Zealand.
Campus Located on a 7.5 acre campus at the Mines Resort City in Kuala Lumpur an easy 20 mins drive from most expatriate residential areas and 5 mins from 3 gated expatriate residences close to the school. The school is well located and easily accessible via the MRR2, Besraya, Silk, KESAS and North South Highways. , Australian International School Malaysia serves more than 600 students represented by over 30 different nationalities. The school is a member of Taylor’s Education Group and Council of International Schools (CIS).
