    Leeds is a city/town with a medium population in the state/region of West Yorkshire, England which is located in the continent/region of Europe.Leeds is a large industrial and commercial centre, one of the most important cities in northern England. Conveniently placed for visiting the wild Pennine moors of Bronte Country to the west, the more pastural scenery of the Yorkshire Dales to the north and north west, and the historic city of York and the North York Moors to the north east, Leeds makes a good central city base for touring the sights and attractions of Yorkshire and other parts of the north of England.

    Leeds experiences typical English weather with a mixture of gloriously sunny days and overcast weather. During the summer (May to September) Leeds has plenty of sunshine with mild weather, while winters can be long, damp and cold when snow and frost is not uncommon.
