Lafayette Honors Hall Located between the Guillot University Center and Powers Hall, Lafayette Hall houses 58 freshmen and upperclass residents on two floors. Lafayette Hall is also the Home of the UNA Honors Program, and assignment to Lafayette Honors Hall requires acceptance into the UNA Honors Program and pre-approval by Dr. Vince Brewton, Director, UNA Honors Program. Lagrange Hall Located on Pine Street, next door to the Student Recreation Center and the University Parking Deck, LaGrange Hall houses 227 freshmen and upperclass residents on four floors. Starting Fall 2012, LaGrange will be making the transition to the Newest Theme Community on Campus, The Women’s Community. No separate application is needed for this, just the desire to live in a community of women, where a focus is placed on women’s developmental issues. Cluster Hall The newest four residence halls at UNA, Hawthorne, Covington, Appleby East and West Halls are often referred to as the Cluster Halls. These residence halls are set up in a suite style, with four people sharing a suite (or mini-cluster). Each suite is comprised of two single rooms and a double room with a separate private toilet area and bath/shower area. Designed for upperclass students, Hawthorne and Covington Halls each house 92 students while Appleby East and West Halls each house 74 students along with our four Panhellenic Sororities. | |||
