The University has 19 faculties and Graduate Schools, 6500 staff members and more than 47 000 students. There are more than 11 800 international students from over 120 countries. The University is the second oldest University in Australia. They opened doors in 1855 with four professors, four faculties and 16 students. They are the second-largest research organisation in Australia after the CSIRO (Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation). |
