    About Off-campus Service

Our Off Campus services aim to inform and educate students and staff about their housing options and tenancy rights and responsibilities, by providing an "Off Campus Housing Information Service" at the following campuses; Berwick, Caulfield, Clayton, Gippsland, Peninsula and Parkville. Our service provides information and resources specifically related to off campus housing. These resources include links to Fact Sheets provided by Tenants Union of Victoria, Consumer Affairs Victoria and access to off-campus housing databases. Finding suitable accommodation can take considerable time and effort. We recommend that you arrive at least two weeks prior to Orientation to ensure that you have enough time to find a suitable place to live. If you are an international student, International Student Support can arrange airport reception and temporary accommodation on your behalf whilst you look for long term housing.

    Staff Accommodation

Monash Residential Services currently provides 9 off-campus properties and 5 on-campus motel units that are available for short-term use by staff that are new to the University, or current University employees in Transit, the maximum length of stay is four months due to strong demand for those properties. Monash Residential Services is currently reviewing the feasibility of developing additional transit housing options for University staff. One of the options being reviewed is the development of more on-campus housing for staff.
