  • International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS)

    Closing Date: 31 October 2011 (International PhD candidates only)

    The University of Canberra is allocated an International Postgraduate Research Scholarships (IPRS) each year. Applicants must be commencing a PhD. Candidates who are allocated an IPRS are not required to pay their tuition fees or Overseas Student Health Cover. IPRS awardees may also be eligible to receive the prestigious W J Weeden Scholarship.

    W J Weeden Postgraduate Research Scholarship

    Closing date: 31 October 2011

    This Scholarship is generously funded by the family of the late W J Weeden. The PhD scholarship provides exemption from tuition fees for international students, offers a stipend (living allowance) equivalent to the Australian Postgraduate Award ($22,860 per annum 2011 rate, tax free and indexed annually) and is available for the duration of the course (up to 3 years).
