    The points test pass mark for this visa is 60 Points. If you score less than 60 Points you will not receive an Invitation to Lodge your Visa Application.

    English Language Ability

    Superior: You must provide one of the following:

    • IELTS Test Report Form Number to show you have a band score of at least eight on each of the four components – speaking, reading, listening and writing or
    • Evidence that you undertook a language test and attained a score as specified by the Minister.

    Proficient: You must provide one of the following:

    • IELTS Test Report Form Number to show you have a band score of at least seven on each of the four components – speaking, reading, listening and writing or
    • Evidence that you undertook a language test and attained a score as specified by the Minister.

    Competent: You must provide the following

    • evidence that you hold an eligible passport
      or
    • IELTS Test Report Form (TRF) Number to show you have a band score of at least six on each of the four components – speaking, reading, listening and writing
      or
    • Evidence that you undertook a language test and attained a score as specified by the Minister.

    Award or qualification recognized by the assessing authority in the assessment of the skilled occupation.

    1. Applicants aged 50 years and older are ineligible to apply as the Primary Applicant

    2. Points for State or Territory Nomination will be awarded depending upon the Visa Subclass applied for.

    3. A maximum of 20 Points can be awarded for Employment.

    4. Only a maximum of 5 Points in total can be awarded for these catorgies.
