    Commonwealth Scholarships

    Commonwealth Scholarships are offered to students from developing Commonwealth countries to study Master’s and PhD programmes to study in the UK. These scholarships are funded by the UK Department for International Development (DFID).If you are a citizen of a developing Commonwealth country, you can apply for Shared Scholarships for Master’s study at the University of Chester. The Commonwealth Scholarship is available for the following postgraduate degree programmes at the University of Chester for September 2013 entry:

    • MSc Biomedical Sciences
    • MSc Cardiovascular Rehabilitation
    • MSc Family and Child Psychology
    • MSc Global Health
    • MSc Health Improvement and Well Being
    • MSc Information Systems
    • MSc Public Health
    • MSc Public Health Nutrition
    • MSc Sport Science
    • MSc Wildlife Conservation

    Masters Scholarships

    At least three Masters Scholarships of £5,000 each, funded through the Santander Universities agreement with the University, are available in 2013/14 to full-time taught postgraduate students at Chester. Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic merit to graduates of institutions in the Santander Universities network within the UK, Latin America, Portugal or Spain.

    Science without Borders Scholarship

    The Brazilian government's Science without Borders Program provides scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate research students from Brazil. There are 100,000 scholarships for the best students from Brazil to study abroad at the world’s best universities.

    Chevening Scholarship

    Chevening Scholarships are the UK government's global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and partner organisations. Chevening Scholarships are for the talented people who have been identified as potential future leaders across a wide range of fields, including politics, business, the media, civil society, religion and academia.
