    Undergraduate International Scholarship

    The undergraduate fees are fixed at the point you start your course at Keele, so there will be no change in the fee charged to you from year to year. Keele also allows you to pay your annual fees in two instalments at no additional cost.

    Postgraduate International Scholarship

    The Keele International Student Scholarship for postgraduate students from all countries is worth GBP3000 towards the cost of your Master's tuition fees. The Scholarships are awarded to students who can demonstrate excellence in at least two of the following areas:

    * Academic qualifications,
    * English Language ability,
    * Understanding of the course and motivation to study at Keele,
    * Extra-curricular or work experience

    To apply for the KISS Scholarship you must have applied to Keele and been offered a place to study here.  You must then complete a separate application form. Applications must have been received and processed before the start of academic year for which the application is made.  KIS Scholarships cannot be awarded to students who have already started their degree at Keele. A committee will meet once a month to consider applications submitted for the Scholarship.  The next deadline for applications is Thursday 20th December 2012.

    A third of their applicants were successful in the first round of applications - congratulations to all those who have been awarded a Scholarship.  Their successful applicants came from a variety of countries including China, Nigeria, South Africa and Vietnam and have applied for a diverse range of courses including Biomedical Blood Sciences, Finance and Management, Globalisation and Justice, Human Rights and Politics and IR. The decisions on Scholarships are made by the International Recruitment Team and their decision is final.

    Eligibility for the Scholarship

    Successful candidates must be accepted onto an eligible full-time taught Master’s degree programme at Keele University. To meet the criteria for outstanding academic excellence/achievement, applicants should demonstrate any one or a combination of:

    • An expectation at the time of the application to obtain a GPA of 3.5 or above (or equivalent) for their first degree
    • Motivation for the subject

    To meet the criteria for outstanding achievement/contribution as an individual, candidates should demonstrate any combination of the following:

    • An achievement or contribution in citizenship in the form of making a difference to the life of the University community (this could include work on or off campus such as volunteer activity)
    • An achievement or contribution specifically connected to a sport or sporting activity
    • Overcoming hardship, disability or other personal adversity

    Candidates must also indicate good reasons why they wish to study in the UK.
