International Scholarships

The following scholarship packages are available to eligible international applicants upon confirmed acceptance of our offer:

• £1,500 for Undergraduate study.
• £1,500 for Masters.
• £1000 for Postgraduate Diploma (pro rata).
• £500 for Postgraduate Certificate (pro rata).

How does it work?

If you are eligible for their international scholarship, it will be automatically deducted from your fees from January 2013. Their 10% Alumni Discount and the international early payment discount still apply. Please note any scholarship will be applied first followed by any applicable discount.

Are you eligible?

A scholarship of £1,500 is offered to all new full-time overseas fee paying students joining the first year of a course in 2012-13. Only students paying the full 2012-13 overseas fee are eligible for this scholarship. The international scholarship is awarded in the first year of study only. Please note that students joining a programme part way through or joining a dedicated top-up course are not eligible for this scholarship. Students studying a Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma are eligible for a pro rata scholarship of £500 and £1000 respectively.

How to apply

There's no need to complete an application form. If you are eligible, the scholarship amount will be deducted from your total fee.

Chevening Scholarships

Chevening Scholarships are for talented people who have been identified as potential future leaders across a wide range of fields; including politics, business, the media, civil society, religion, and academia. Applicants should be high calibre graduates with the personal, intellectual and interpersonal qualities necessary for leadership. Chevening Scholars come from over 110 countries worldwide (excluding the USA and the EU), and this year the Scholarships will support approximately 700 individuals. Commonwealth Shared Scholarships

They have been awarded 7 Commonwealth Shared Scholarships for September 2013 for the following courses: 

• 6 awards for MSc Public Health – Health Promotion.
• 1 award MSc Responsible Tourism Management.

Science without Borders Scholarships (Ciencia sem Fronteiras)

They are delighted to announce that Leeds Metropolitan University is now taking part in the Science without Borders (Ciencia sem Fonteiras) scholarship programme which is operated by the Brazilian government.  The programme offers students a full scholarship to study with them for one year as part of their undergraduate degree programme in Brazil.
