International Scholarships for new students

At the University of Lincoln they understand the importance of investing in your future and they want to ensure that they are able to provide as much financial assistance as possible. That’s why they have a wide number of scholarships available to help you study in their historic city.     

Self-funding international students with overseas fee status applying for their undergraduate and postgraduate programmes from the countries highlighted in the table below will be automatically considered for scholarships when you submit your application.                                                

Undergraduate Scholarships

The University of Lincoln Scholarships will be awarded based on:

• Academic achievements
• English Language Standard
• Personal Statement
• Supporting information which you have provided with your application.

Other International Scholarships

Alumni Scholarship - £2,000

If you have previously studied one of their undergraduate courses and progress onto to one of their postgraduate courses you will also be automatically considered for an Alumni Scholarship up to the value of £2,000. This will be awarded on the basis of:

• Academic achievements
• Personal Statement
• Supporting information which you have provided with your application.

International MBA Scholarship - £4,000

The University of Lincoln is also offering an International MBA Scholarship of £4,000. All students who apply for our MBA programme commencing in September 2013 will automatically be considered. The University of Lincoln MBA Scholarship will be awarded based on

• Personal Statements
• Supporting information which you have provided with your application

To be considered for any University of Lincoln Scholarship you will need to apply before 31^st May 2013 and hold an offer from us.

Chevening Scholarships

Chevening Scholarships are the UK government’s global scholarship programme, funded by the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) and partner organisations. The Scholarships are awarded to outstanding scholars with leadership potential. Awards are typically for a one-year Master’s degree, in any subject and at any of the UK’s leading universities.

The Chevening programme began in 1983 and has developed into a prestigious international scheme. Chevening Scholars come from 116 countries worldwide (excluding the USA and the EU), and this year the Scholarships will support approximately 700 individuals. There are over 41,000 Chevening alumni around the world who together comprise an influential and highly regarded global network.
