    Course overview

    The Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice enables you to acquire essential foundational skills. You will gain knowledge of Australian law and the ability to critically evaluate it with reference to its historical development and context. You will also acquire a range of skills such as interviewing, drafting, advocacy, negotitation and teamwork to enable you to translate legal rights into practice within real world scenarios.

    Bachelor of Justice and Society

    Course overview

    The course combines legal studies and philosophy, while offering a wide choice of elective options. You will develop strong skills in reasoning and argument and learn to locate, read and analyse legal materials as well as conduct research and examine possible reforms in relation to pressing legal issues.

    Law Pathway

    The Bachelor of Justice and Society (Law Pathway) is an alternative entry option for students seeking admission into a Law degree at Flinders. In order to be guaranteed a place in the Bachelor of Laws and Legal Practice in the following year, you must achieve an overall credit (5.0) grade point average, including a grade of credit or higher in 2 Law topics. Students who successfully complete this pathway may receive up to 36 units of credit.
