  • Science at ACU University

    The Faculty of Arts and Sciences provides undergraduate and postgraduate courses for approximately 4,500 students at six campuses located in Brisbane, Canberra, North Sydney, Strathfield, Ballarat and Melbourne and at various offshore locations. Each year more than 1000 students commence in our programs and approximately 20% of our students are international students drawn from countries across the world.

    The Faculty of Arts and Sciences offers students a range of highly regarded programs taught by dedicated, well-qualified staff, who are committed to student-centred teaching and the pursuit of academic excellence. A number of our staff have been recognised for their excellence in teaching.

    Within the Faculty, study areas include Australian studies, Asian studies, communication, counselling, design and technology, drama, economics, environmental science, geography, history, legal studies, literature, mathematics, media, music, psychology, social sciences, social work, visual arts and youth work. Our courses are challenging academically and responsive to society's rapidly changing demands.

    The impacts of climate change and striving for a sustainable environment are now a part of everyday life - there is strong demand for expertise in management, rehabilitation, restoration and protection of our environment. Bachelor of Environmental Science will enable you to contribute to the monitoring and management of processes and activities that affect the environment.
