Flinders Teaching
Teaching at Flinders University
Through teaching, research and community engagement, the Flinders University School of Education aims to be at the forefront of educational change.
The School, located in a state-of-the art purpose-designed building, offers a wide range of programs from teacher education courses through to more general offerings aimed at a wide spectrum of people with an interest in education. Delivered by experienced staff in a modern, supportive learning environment, the awards give graduates the tools to incorporate important educational principles into their work and careers, or to become effective and engaging teachers themselves. Awards are variously offered on-campus, by distance and in overseas locations.
Bringing together experts from across a range of disciplines, the School’s research focuses on working with government and industry to address real-world educational issues and challenges. Further information, including staff expertise and current projects, is available from the Centre for the Analysis of Educational Futures, the School’s Research Centre. In addition to teaching and research activities, the School also engages broadly with local, national and global communities. Our staff are currently working on a range of community-engagement activities.
