CELUSA is the Centre for English Language in the University of South Australia. CELUSA specialises in providing high quality English language preparation programs for international undergraduate and postgraduate students. CELUSA students continue on to study at UniSA, SAIBT, Le Cordon Bleu and other Australian education institutions. CELUSA is Adelaide's IELTS test centre. CELUSA Programs: Academic English (AE): The AE program is for students planning to study at an Australian education institution. The higher levels of AE are designed for students who need to meet the English language admission requirement of the University of South Australia (UniSA), South Australian Institute of Business and Technology (SAIBT) or Le Cordon Bleu. This program develops the skills necessary for academic study, such as listening to lectures and note-taking, planning and writing essays and reports, and taking part in group discussions and spoken presentations. General English (GE) The GE program develops English communications skills in speaking, reading, writing and listening, as well as grammar and pronunciation. Students also study Australian culture and idioms. The teaching style is communicative with a lot of interaction and practice in useful, natural English. This program is for students who want to improve their English fluency for travel, work and socialising. Mixed Option Mixed Option The Mixed Option allows students to combine their 10 week Academic English language program with either a pre-university level or university level academic module offered by the South Australian Institute of Business and Technology (SAIBT).
