The English Language Institute (ELI) is at Victoria University's newest campus just 5 minutes walk from Flinders Street station in the city. ELI offers a wide range of nationally-accredited English language courses at all levels for those wishing to continue their studies as well as those who are visiting Australia as part of a study tour or holiday program. ELI's wide variety of courses includes English for Academic Purposes (EAP) courses which prepare students for 3 distinct levels of further study at VU: TAFE, Undergraduate and Postgraduate. ELI provides excellent open access facilities including a Self Access Centre and a Multi Media Centre. Over the years ELI has developed an enviable reputation for the quality of its programs, facilities and the commitment and dedication of its teaching and support staff.
