Study English at Carrick to give you options for the future. Carrick English courses are perfect for adding to your travel experience or can take you further as a pathway to vocational and higher education courses. At Carrick we recognise that English is becoming an international language and our courses are designed to help students develop their listening, speaking, reading and writing skills, whether they want to pass an examination, gain a qualification or just meet new friends.

Carrick offers English courses at all levels from beginner to advanced and students can start studying most courses every Monday.

ELICOS is for students who want to learn English for everyday situations; ELICOS is even a great way for holiday goers to brush up on their English skills. EVE courses are designed by Carrick for students wanting to study Carrick vocational courses and EAP courses are designed for higher academic learning. Successful completion of an EAP course prepares students for a university environment.

English at Carrick is not all about theory and sitting in the classroom. Teachers use relevant situational speaking and listening activities, interesting reading and writing activities and many outings so students can practice their English in real life situations as well as exploring their new cities.

All of Carrick’s campuses are in the heart of the city, easy walking and public transport distance to the unique attractions these cities have to offer; from cafes, shopping, and cultural events to pristine parks and beaches.
