Aoraki Polytechnic Accommodation

Aoraki Polytechnic doesn’t have its own accommodation for students but that doesn’t mean there isn’t any. There are still plenty of accommodation options out there fore you – from private board to hostels, homestays to flats. Just check out the local newspapers and real estate agents, or get some local knowledge from Aoraki Polytechnic.

Aoraki Polytechnic recommends the following accommodation options in each of the areas it has campuses:

Timaru
Carlton Hotel - just 7min walk to Aoraki Polytechnic.
Timaru Girls’ High School Hostel (for female students only) – just 5mins walk to Aoraki Polytechnic.
York House – just 400m to Aoraki Polytechnic and within 5mins walk to the town centre, supermarket and library – this is private accommodation.

Christchurch
University of Canterbury - some accommodation may be available in either Ilam Village Hinau Apartments or Sonoda Christchurch Campus.
Christchurch YMCA Hostel
Private flatting

Dunedin
Salmond College – there’s a few rooms available for out-of-town students at Aoraki’s Dunedin campus.
