Waiariki Institute of Technology has two fully accredited accommodation options for international students: Waiariki House and Homestay accommodation with a New Zealand family.

Hostel Accommodation

Waiariki House is hostel accommodation conveniently located in the centre of Rotorua city. It takes just minutes to walk to public transport, the famous Polynesian Spa, beautiful Lake Rotorua, Government Gardens, the Blue Baths, restaurants, cafés and shopping areas. Waiariki House has single and twin rooms available. All rooms have study desks, wardrobes, heaters and beds with fresh linen provided weekly. Cleaned daily, Waiariki House offers safe, clean, relaxed and friendly accommodation in a happy community.

Homestay accommodation is a unique way of familiarising yourself with your new culture. A family boarding situation, homestay accommodation takes you in to the home of a New Zealand family. All families have undergone house inspections, interviews and have been policed cleared.
