Homestays are arranged with New Zealand families who wish to welcome international students into their family life. We will introduce you to a family that is right for you. Homestay is a great way of experiencing the New Zealand lifestyle, making friends and for practicing your English. You will have your own room and all meals are provided. The homestay cost including meals in 2012 is $NZ240 per week. Note: There is a non-refundable accommodation placement fee of NZ$200.

Private Rental Accommodation (flatting)

Students who wish to live independently can rent an apartment or share a house with others. Flats are advertised in newspapers and online.

Trade Me Flatmates	Trade Me is the most popular website for listing and searching for flats and flatmates as well as household furniture and other items.
NZFlatmates	NZFlatmates is a free service that allows students to place listings and search listings for flats and flatmates throughout the whole of New Zealand.
