    Art at Nelson Malborough Institute of Technology

    In the Creative Industries programme area NMIT offer certificates, diplomas and degrees in arts and media along with diplomas in Graphic Design and Multimedia and Contemporary Music. The NMIT degree in Arts and Media involves study in the following disciplines: Object Design: including 3D construction, jewellery, textiles, ceramics, glass, sculpture, metal and wood; Image: painting, print-making and photography; Graphic Design: image manipulation, interactive and web design, file management and output, graphic design principles, animation; Sound and Moving Image: moving image, pre- and post-production technology; Visual Culture: history and theory of images; Drawing and Design: figure drawing and experimental, technical and explorative drawing.

    Bachelor of Arts and Media

    Develop innovative ideas that will prepare you for a wide range of careers in arts and media through an understanding of academic and technical excellence, effective use of visual language and specialist knowledge.
