    Undergraduate Degrees

    The Faculty of Computing & Mathematical Sciences offers the following graduate qualifications:

    • Postgraduate Certificate (PGCert)
    • Postgraduate Diploma (PGDip)
    • Master of Computer Graphic Design (MCGD)
    • Master of Science (MSc)
    • Master of Philosophy (MPhil)
    • Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

    The approximate level and duration of the qualifications listed above are summarised in the diagram below. The Diploma programmes are professional qualifications intended for people who already have a degree. The MSc degree involves coursework and generally a research component as well. The PhD and MPhil are research degrees in which you will make a significant contribution to knowledge in your field of study.

    Entry Requirements

    All graduate programmes require candidates to have completed a Bachelors degree with a major in the relevant subject (computer science, computer graphic design, computer engineering, mathematics, or statistics).
