    The University of Ballarat Residences offer comfortable, single fully furnished study-bedrooms with in room data providing access to the university network. Communal living areas consist of TV/Lounge room and fully equipped kitchens. Laundry facilities are also available at all residences. Accommodation Services is an environmentally aware department and a Water Wise Community.

    Bella Guerin Hall

    The units in Bella Guerin Hall are separate two-storey buildings each housing 10 students. Units 9-16 form a central quadrangle with an undercover BBQ area which is widely used for recreation and unit functions. Units 1-8 and units 17-20 are on the exterior of the residence and have nicely planted gardens and lawn areas. Bella Guerin Hall is in a pleasant native bushland setting within a few minutes walk of the University's heated swimming pool, gymnasium, squash courts, tennis courts and sports fields, cafeteria, shops, ANZ Bank ATM, library, computer laboratories, lecture rooms and other facilities.

    Peter Lalor Hall

    Peter Lalor Hall is situated at the Mt Helen campus. It provides accommodation for 314 students in single bedrooms with shared facilities. Students living in Peter Lalor Hall dine together Monday to Thursday evening each week in the Mt Helen campus bistro. The unit facilities are equipped for preparing other meals and snacks.

    Peter Lalor South (Units 1 -14) accommodates 170 students predominately in multi level units of 10 people. The units of Peter Lalor South interconnect which aids in providing a communal environment. The courtyard area in the middle of Peter Lalor South has recently been landscaped and provides a pleasant setting for outdoor activities and leisure. Peter Lalor North (units 15-26) accommodates 144 students in two storey units. These units are separate buildings situated along both sides of a paved walkway.

    Camp St residence

    Camp Street is situated in the Cafe/Arts district in the heart of Ballarat, just minutes from restaurants, nightclubs, shopping strips and the cinema. The apartments and en-suite studio rooms are located above the University's lecture halls, studios and galleries and provide accommodation for 38 arts students. The residences in the north building are located on level four and consists of 2 ensuite studio rooms with kitchenettes and 3 four bedroom units each with a fully equipped kitchen and common area.

    Accommodation in the south building is located on levels four and five and consists of twenty-four ensuite studio rooms with kitchenettes as well as a large fully equipped kitchen and common area for use by all residents. Many rooms in both buildings have balcony access with spectacular views over Ballarat and district. Apartments and Studios are accessible only to residents via swipe card access in each lift. Secure laundry and parking facilities are located in the north building at ground level with swipe card access. Car parking is managed by UB's Finance Department.

    Please note that due to the central location of the Arts Academy with close proximity to much of Ballarat's nightlife, noise levels are increased over weekends and holiday periods.
