    Art education at the Otago Polytechnic School of Art is about creating strong individuals who will be able to make their own way in the world – not only in art, but within many other fields of visual culture.

    Our programmes are available for part-time and full-time study allowing our students to earn qualifications in their own time, at their own pace. We extend our greetings to Kai Tahu, Kati Mamoe and Waitaha as the mana whenua of this area. Ka tukua kā mihi ki te mana whenua o t�"nei whenua Ko Kai Tahu, Kati Mamoe Waitaha, Rapuwai hoki.

    The Dunedin School of Art offers Full-time programmes in visual arts to students from throughout New Zealand and overseas. Valuable recourses and teaching experience amassed over the decades and, since 1984, enhanced by new premises and equipment of international standard. An administration and professional teaching staff geared to rapid change and responsive to student needs.
