    The University of San Diego (USD) is a Roman Catholic university in San Diego, California, United States.

     

       
     

    USD offers more than 60 degrees at the bachelor's, master's, and doctoral levels. USD is divided into six schools and colleges. The College of Arts and Sciences and the School of Law are the oldest academic divisions at USD; the Joan B. Kroc School of Peace Studies is the university's newest school. USD offers an honors program at the undergraduate level, with approximately 300 students enrolled annually.

    In Fall 2011, there were 5,493 undergraduate students, 1,408 graduate students, and 1,416 law students enrolled in the university for a total of 8,317.

     

    Ranking

    USD's undergraduate programs have been recognized by multiple publications including U.S. News & World Report, Princeton Review, Bloomberg Businessweek, and Forbes. In 2011, USD ranked 97th among "National Universities" by U.S. News & World Report and 37th in the West by Forbes
