    National University (NU), founded in 1971, is a comprehensive, nonsectarian, independent, accredited, non-profit private university headquartered in La Jolla, California, United States

     

    Since 1971, National University has been dedicated to making lifelong learning opportunities accessible, challenging, and relevant to a diverse student population.  Today, that dedication has resulted in National University becoming the second-largest private, nonprofit institution of higher education in California and 12th largest in the United States.

     

    Programs

    National University's academic programs include associate's degrees, bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, teaching credentials, and certificate programs.

    National University is organized into five schools and one college; the College of Letters and Sciences; the School of Business and Management; the School of Education; the School of Engineering, Technology and Media; the School of Health and Human Services; and the School of Professional Studies.

    With campuses throughout California and one in Nevada, there’s a National University location near you.

    In addition to a network of campuses reaching from San Diego in the south, Redding in the north, and east to Henderson, Nevada, National University also offers online degrees, so your education goes wherever you go.
