Selangor

Selangor is centrally located on the west coast of Peninsular Malaysia. It is one of the most prosperous and developed states in the country. Its capital is Shah Alam. Selangor is home to the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the country’s main entry point, and Port Klang, the largest port in Malaysia.

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia’s capital, and Putrajaya, the federal administrative capital, lie within the bounds of Selangor. Selangor is characterized by its flourishing urban environment, such as Petaling Jaya, Subang Jaya, Sunway and Klang.
