Faculty of Accountancy and Management (Bandar Sungai Long Campus)

The Faculty of Accountancy and Management (FAM) was established in 2002 with the philosophy to constantly keep its programmes abreast of the rapid changes in the business environment via regular monitoring of regional; and global business trends. The Faculty also maintains constant meetings and dialogues with industry practitioners to ensure that the programmes offered are current and relevant and the graduates are high-calibre, market driven, well-informed and marketable in their own fields of studies.

The first intake of students in 10 June 2002 saw 222 students registered for the above two courses.

Faculty of Business and Finance (Perak Campus)

This Faculty was officially established in June 2008 for the Kampar campus. The courses offered at this relatively new faculty were inherited from the Faculty of Accountancy and Management. This Faculty will be seeing tremendous growth in both academic staff and  undergraduate students in the coming two years. For 2008, we have 1,500 undergraduate students in FBF. By 2010, we expect to have 5,000 undergraduate students.

The mission of the Faculty of Business and Finance is to be a centre of academic  excellence dedicated to meeting the educational needs of the various communities in Malaysia. The Faculty aims to create a conducive environment of scholarship and high academic achievements in teaching and research.

The Faculty provides education for undergraduate studies with the vision of developing competent and highly motivated individuals who possesses critical thinking skills and good work ethics.

We aim to ensure quality and impact of our research and teaching for the business community and promote strong linkages with alumni and industry.
