Engineering is one of the oldest professions in the world. The engineering profession is devoted to designing, constructing, and operating structures, machines, and other devices of industry and everyday life. The Faculty of Engineering at UNISEL is devoted to generating engineers of high calibre in all the engineering disciplines it has to offer. Programmes offered include diploma and bachelor degrees.

The average of six hours a week of tutoring, lecturing and laboratory sessions, allow students to study and observe the applications of the theories from their lectures. Students of the Bachelor of Engineering programmes will also undertake a major individual project during their fourth year. Thereafter, the undergraduates are required to undergo industrial training.The industry placement will accord students the competitive advantage when they eventually enter the job market, as they will be able to develop skills that pertain to business, teamwork and other transferable skills. The industrial exposure will also open up a myriad of potentials in the career choice for every student, apart from the traditional alternatives.
