| The Faculty of Education started as the Department of Education at the Faculty of Community Sciences and Humanities in 1972. The department was then upgraded to faculty level on 16 October 1986. The faculty is backed by two departments, namely the Department of Education Foundation and the Department of Methodology and Practice, offering both undergraduate and graduate courses. Its vision is to uphold education as a reputable profession by producing educators who are knowledgeable, technologically savvy with high ethical values in consonant with their obligations to God and humanity.
